Isothermal Extrusion with N5Nitrogen – High-Speed, High-Quality Aluminium Extrusion

Isothermal extrusion using N5Nitrogen Liquid Nitrogen Technology is an innovative solution that enhances the surface quality, mechanical performance, and productivity in aluminium profile extrusion—without reducing the extrusion speed.

Common Problems in Aluminium Extrusion:

  • Die pick-up
  • Die lines
  • Blisters
  • Tearing

To avoid these, companies usually reduce speed—sacrificing productivity.

N5Nitrogen Isothermal Extrusion

By injecting liquid nitrogen into the die, overheating due to friction is minimized. This technology allows:

  • Higher extrusion speeds
  • Improved surface quality
  • Longer die life
  • Better mechanical characteristics
  • Stable, continuous production
  • Lower scrap rates
  • Higher overall productivity

How It Works:

Liquid nitrogen is delivered directly into the die through specially designed cooling channels (in the backer, die cap, or mandrel depending on profile type).

LEVI PLUS – Modular Grinding System for Scratched Finishes

LEVI PLUS is a modular sanding machine developed to deliver high-quality scratched finishes on aluminum profiles—flat or curved. Thanks to its modular design, it can be equipped with multiple operating units featuring different technical characteristics, allowing simultaneous processing on three sides of a profile.

Designed especially for sanding rounded corners and edges, LEVI PLUS enables complete processing of all visible sides of a profile. Interchangeable pads and contact rollers allow great flexibility in working with different radii.

The machine includes:

  • A towing mat that ensures stable profile movement,
  • A lubrication and cooling system,
  • Dedicated cabinets for each group,
  • And the option to customize the number of working groups according to customer needs.

With LEVI PLUS, you can work on 4 of the 6 useful sides of a profile in a single pass, achieving a uniform and consistent surface effect. Shaped rollers help harmonize the abrasive belt finish even on curved surfaces.
